New construction projects start with a design meeting to go over site planning, space planning, the size of the home, overall style interests and other similar details. From there, we will start the research phase of the project and move into the concepts and schematics. Working alongside clients, engineers, contractors and more is what sets Cascade Home Design apart.

How much does custom home design cost?Cascade Home Design charges a square footage price for new construction home designs. The square footage pricing is determined by the project complexity. Where do you provide your home design & permitting services?Cascade Home Design exclusively designs and permits projects throughout all of Washington State. With more than 10 years of experience in the Greater Seattle Area, we are familiar with the jurisdictions, codes and industry standards in the area. We have done projects from North of Woodinville, throughout Seattle, Bellevue, and Kirkland, down south through Enumclaw, Puyallup and Tumwater, and all the way over east into Sunland, Crescent Bar, Seven Bays, and even Spokane.

Who pays for the building permit?The owner, investor or sometimes general contractor pays for the building permit. In most cases, it is the home owner.
